Compensation
We compensate in two ways, Hourly starts at $15 with a small commission, and commission only with a substantial commission of up to $18 per unit. Both forms of pay out are also offered bonuses and other incentives upon meeting certain performance goals. Incentives and bonuses are typically obtained by commission based agents do to the fact that they can work 40+ hours while a hourly agent is only allowed to work no more than 40 hours.
Performance Tiers
All commission based agents are compensated according the the total number of approved orders that were processed in any given week. Tiers are broken down to three categories and they are paid better then higher the number of successful orders were processed any given week. Low Performing Tier is 0-24 approved orders per week. You cannot be at this tier two weeks in a row, and not at all in the first 30 days, and only pays $10 at best, Tier 25-49 approved orders per week is average and which most agents fall within and earn $15 per unit. 50+ approved orders is considered high performer and compensated at $18 per unit.
Upselling
Additional compensation can be earned by up-selling customers to an "upgraded device". Often times customers would like a better phone than what the carrier offers. Some carriers do offer such "upgrades" at a very reasonable price. $20-$30 is the typical price of an upgraded device. Name brands are common when purchasing these upgrades. LG, Alcatel and Samsung just to name a few brands. Bring your own phone is also a way of upselling a customer because the carrier would rather provide your customer a sim card over a phone any day. So agents are compensated at least $5 more when they process a BYOD sim card order than just a typical phone givaway.
Recruiting
Every little dollar adds up! With every recruit you bring to the team, you shall earn $1 per approved order for as long as the both of you are active and meeting your minimum weekly goals. For Hourly agents that goal is 50 units per week. For commission based agents that minimum is at least 25 approved orders per week. a mediocre agent can earn you at least $100 per month. If you have 5 recruits, that could be an extra $400 per month.
Team Leads
When any given agent has 5 or more recruits, he or she may opt to become, a team lead, and thus take a managing roll for those particular individuals that they recruited. Team leads are generally always commission based, but some exceptions can be made for the right fitting agent. Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up inventory and/or marketing equipment, Training your recruits and reconciling inventory weekly and monthly. Team leads can earn upwards of $3,000-$3,500 per month and grow from there with just 5 mediocre recruits.
Managers
Managers are those with experience in building and running a team. Nu Connect would compensate said Manager under a company name and so forth. A check would be cut for the total approved orders that the manager and the team he manages made in a single 2 week period. That manager would then be responsible to pay each and every one of his agents. Compensation for Managers starts at $20 dollars per unit. Managers have 30 days to ramp up to 500 units and 90 to ramp up to 1000 units in order to maintain the contract with Nu Connect. This offer is not offered across the board with any carrier. This offer is currently only offered to Assurance Wireless & Safelink. Managers must provide their agents with all of the necessities needed to be successful. Nothing other than the free marketing materials that are provided by the carrier will be passed on to the managers according to availability. Both carriers tend to outfit the agents well.
Share Offices
Success starts by knowing what any business' list of essentials will make their business a successful venture. We believe that having a comfortable and motivating place to operate your business out of, in the most cost effective yet most impressive way, should be at the top of that list. For that reason we a Nu Connect offer all of our agents the opportunity to have a shared office of their own. Here are some of the required expectations that earn a new agent their own shared office. 1) Recruit 3 agents and all of them are meeting their minimum weekly quotas for the first 4 complete weeks. 2) Agents must be meeting their good performance quota of at least 50 approved units per week.
